HILLARY CLINTON CATCH 22 U.S. District Court Judge Royce C. Lamberth granted Judicial Watch’s request to depose former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton about her emails and Benghazi attack documents. The court also ordered the deposition of Clinton’s former Chief of Staff, Cheryl Mills and two other State Department officials.
In an interview, Judge Napolitano said that the former presidential candidate would have to ask the Department of Justice head William Barr to file an appeal on her behalf because the Department of Justice (DOJ) lawyers would be representing her in the case.
“The court believes those responses were either incomplete, unhelpful, or cursory at best. Simply put, her responses left many more questions than answers.” the judge wrote.
Additionally, this deposition will also be videotaped. Clinton can be prosecuted if she lies under oath in this deposition. While the date of the deposition is still to be determined, Napolitano told the “Friends” hosts he predicts it will likely be held in the spring or summer.
