Love Sux is the seventh studio album by singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne, released by DTA Records (Travis Barker and Lil Wayne's) new label with Elektra Records. Love Sux is Lavigne's first studio album since Head Above Water which came out in 2019. Lavigne worked with guest artists Machine Gun Kelly, Blackbear, Mark Hoppus, Travis Barker of Blink-182, and Yungblud. The music embraces pop angst and Lavigne's early skate-punk influences from Blink-182, Green Day, and more.
The album has received great reviews, debuting at number nine on US Billboard 200. It also entered the top 10 in Australia, Germany, Canada, Japan, and the United Kingdom, among many others.
In November, the deluxe edition of Love Sux was released following the release of its third single, "I'm a Mess," a collaboration with British singer Yungblud.
