RON WHITE
AT THE MIRAGE HOTEL AND CASINO

After gaining fame with the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, Ron White has since garnered two Grammy nominations, three top-rated TV specials on Comedy Central, a book on the New York Times Best Seller List, and DVD and CD sales of over 10 million copies. White has successfully established himself as one of comedy’s hardest working personalities.

Born in Texas, White can usually be found on stage, sipping a glass of Scotch and smoking his signature cigar. White’s deadpan observations about real life ensures that his comedy maintains a timeless appeal. White’s favorite subjects include excessive drinking, his marriages, funding the military, and the joys of a well-appointed bathroom. White performs January 24 and 25 at 10 p.m. Ticket’s start at $71.93 and are available at mirage.mgmresorts.com.

R.U.N.
The first live-action thriller by Cirque du Soleil
AT LUXOR HOTEL AND CASINO
So, we’re in the desert outside Vegas, or somewhere that looks like it anyway. A gangland wedding is taking place in a small chapel. Organ music, gangland chic, seems idyllic. But something is not right. Some guy shows up and breaks up the wedding, steals a necklace, and runs for his life in a reckless car chase back to the city. Then while you’re picking at your popcorn, punches fly between rival gangs in a climactic brawl.
Ensues a night of breakneck action-thriller stuff, bike chases, gang fights, guys on fire, villains straight out of your worst nightmares, badass girls calling the shots, plot twists, and then more chases, gruesome fights, explosions, more plot twists, you get the drift,  it’s a living, breathing, graphic novel that’s nonstop tire-peeling, fist-flinging, and double-crossing action.
Cut forward to the last chapter, and you’ll finally see the Bride’s true colors and understand why that wedding had to be stopped — dying to know all the nasty details? You’ll have to fork out your money to come to see the showdown where all will be revealed. Everyone enjoys a pleasant surprise, right? Only one way to find out. R.U.N. performs Wednesday - Sunday at 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Tickets start at $64.31 and are available at luxor.com.
