If you’ve started a diet to lose weight, and suddenly find that you are getting a case of the chills more than you normally do, it could be a sign that you are cutting too many calories. Also, if you are a month into your weight loss efforts, you may have stripped away some of your insulator fat. Make sure that you are getting at least 1,200 calories a day and maybe consider amping-up the iron in your diet, as well, by adding more nutrient rich greens, and lean red meat to keep your red blood cell counts high. Women especially are guilty of not getting enough iron in their diets.
