GOO GOO DOLLS BROUGHT CHART-TOPPING HITS TO DOWNTOWN LAS VEGAS EVENTS CENTER, SEPT. 16

Rock legends Goo Goo Dolls, with Tribe Society and Collective Soul, brought an unforgettable night to the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC) on Friday, September 16 to celebrate the D Las Vegas’ fifth anniversary weekend.  Coming to the conclusion of their highly-successful summer tour, the bands electrified fans with hits from the past and present.

Formed in 2015, the New York-based progressive group Tribe Society opened the show with an array of songs showcasing their eclectic sound.  Next up, the multiplatinum quintet Collective Soul took to the stage to perform a slew of #1 hits they have achieved over two decades.  Known for classics like “Shine,” the fans jumped and danced to their energetic performance.

With more than 10 million albums sold worldwide, celebrated band Goo Goo Dolls continued the action-packed evening by starting with “Long Way Down,” “Here is Gone” and their beloved song “Slide.”  The band reminded guests of their incredible 30-year career with “Big Black Balloon,” “Bringing on the Light,” and #1 Billboard favorite “Iris.”

Goo Goo Dolls also crooned the audience with material from their latest album release Boxes, including “Over and Over” and their recent single “So Alive.”
