NINE INCH NAILS
Nine Inch Nails will play two shows at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on June 13,15 and 16. The iconic 90s band will spend the majority of their summer on European headlining shows and various festival appearances. They’re scheduled to play at Roskilde Festival, Summer Sonic Festival in Japan, the Mad Cool Festival and the Meltdown Festival in the UK, which was curated by The Cure’s Robert Smith.

Recently, during an interview with BBC Radio 6, Trent Reznor revealed that the third and long-awaited final installment of NIN’s EP trilogy should be out before the band’s European festival tour in June. “As we finished Add Violence we found ourselves… it felt too predictable. It felt like we were forcing things. Musically and storytelling-wise. The reason this has been delayed is because it took us a while for—what has become the third EP—to reveal itself to us.” Nine Inch Nails released the first part of the trilogy, “Not the Actual Events,” in 2016 followed by “Add Violence” in 2017.

As of this writing the 13 and 15 are sold out and tickets are available for the 16 starting at $79.50 at axs.com.

RICK SPRINGFIELD AT SUNSET STATION AMPHITHEATER
Rocker Rick Springfield headlines this year’s JunesFest at Sunset Station Amphitheater on June 9. Springfield skyrocketed to fame in 1981 when the stars aligned and he found himself sitting on top of the world. In the midst of recording what would become the quintessential pop/rock album, “Working Class Dog,” Rick was cast to the play the young, eligible Dr. Noah Drake, on the popular daytime drama “General Hospital.” That same year, MTV debuted, changing the dynamic of the music industry forever. Rick topped the Billboard’s charts with “Jessie’s Girl” and “I’ve Done Everything For You.” The following year, he won a Grammy for “Best Male Rock Vocal Performance.” Almost 40 years later Springfield is still at it, touring and playing to huge crowds with an incredibly loyal following. JuneFest also features  Starship featuring Micky Thomas, and Berlin featuring Terry Nunn. JuneFest starts at 5 p.m. on Saturday June 9. Tickets start at $69 and are available at stationcasinoslive.com.
