FETISH AND FANTASY HALLOWEEN BALL
XX - TWO DECADES OF DECADENCE
By Jack Wellington
One of the most decadent costume parties you will ever experience on this earth is held in none other than Sin City. Las Vegas has been the perfect location for the Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball, which celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year in being one of the most outrageously risqué, bizarre and seductive parties ever to be experienced.
What truly makes this party so decadent? One of the main ingredients is the all-out, no-holds-barred, willing participation of Vegas locals. Folks in Vegas are simply “ready to play dressup” when it comes to Halloween. The hellishly-howling holiday is celebrated by Halloween fanatics here almost as wholeheartedly as Christmas. Every fall, all around the Valley, homes are decorated to the hilt in Halloween horror and fun. Some of the neighborhood home “haunted houses” rival that of horror film director Eli Roth’s work. Another factor is the undeniable talent that resides in this city—with top-notch show productions, sound, lighting and performers—Vegas is the Entertainment Capital of the World, after all.
So what’s it REALLY like?
Take the decadence of the costumed sex parties in the movie, Eyes Wide Shut, add some unknown characters and jaw-dropping plot twists from a Quentin Tarantino film, mix in a little “Girls Gone Wild” video, lightly chop in a sliver of Clive Barker’s Hellraiser and American Horror Story: Freakshow, then top it off with an excerpt from an Animal Planet documentary on wild animals mating in their natural habitat—and you’ve got a sip of a sneak peek behind the succulent cocktailed curtain of the outrageously erotic, turnt party that is the Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball of Las Vegas.
The Ball’s outlandish six-hour extravaganza is like a boundless buffet of erotic activity and entertainment from not only its performers—of fire breathers to aerialists, contortionists to freaks hanging from the ceiling, but its 8,000+ insane audience participation—especially its exhibitionist stage, where fans join in on the action, strutting their stuff, or receiving a penance for naughty behavior. Talented performers, DJ’s, and musicians, from both the U.S. and abroad, add to the party’s sensory overload. For a performance lineup, visit their site, as new acts are added daily.
ATTIRE– Just about every possible fantasy-wear is permitted at the Ball—from leather, latex, rubber and p.v.c. to lace, feathers, saran wrap and more. On the other hand, you will not be allowed to enter without a fantasy costume—no “looky-loos” or “party poopers” are allowed—making sure that all participants are made to feel at ease and comfortable in their fantasy attire in this one, unique night of decadence.
SEX AND FANTASY– Just in case you were wondering: there are no acts of sex allowed at the Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball. Even though the event is adult-only, ages 21 and up, the Ball is a “Fantasy” – and per Sin City’s Clark County Code – “Lewd activity is forbidden” and is defined in Section 8.20.020 in part as: The touching of one’s own or another person’s clothed or unclothed human male or female genitals, pubic area, anus, or female breast(s) for the purposes of arousing or gratifying the sexual desire of any person. The applicable exception to this subsection (b) is the following: (i) An individual may touch her own clothed female breast(s). Any actual act of sexual intercourse, while clothed or unclothed, that includes, but may not be limited to any of the following types of contact; genital-genital, oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal, with or between persons of the same sex or opposite sex, any actual act of masturbation, or any actual or simulated act of bestiality or sadomasochistic abuse.
This party has had a global reach, with fans flying in from all over the world to experience the one-of-a-kind event. Last year’s Ball even had its first-ever wedding performed for a couple from the U.K. Celebrating two decades of successful sexy parties with international attendance, the Ball is looking to expand its reach even further after successfully pulling off a simultaneous event in Tampa, FL. The Ball has plans for a 3-day Lifestyles Expo held prior to the event next year, and looks to possibly hit the road with the Ball. The FFHB is now offering FFHB licensing to interested parties looking to venture into having their own FFHB in their city. So keep an eye out for the FFHB to maybe come to your hometown sometime in the future.
