The Many Health Benefits of SEMEN

THE MANY HEALTH BENEFITS OF SEMEN
Besides the natural feel-good release of an ejaculation, there are many surprising benefits found in semen.

• NATURAL SEDATIVE
The hormone, melatonin, is found in semen. This natural sleep aid provides relaxation and a good night’s sleep when it enters your bloodstream—whether it’s ingested or through intercourse.

• NATURAL ANTI-DEPRESSANT
A study conducted at State University of New York in Albany found females who had sex without condoms showed fewer signs of depression, as shown in the evidence that semen can be detected in the bloodstream within a few hours after sex (a strong endorsement for monogamy).

• LOWERS BLOOD PRESSURE
Through oral sex, it has been found in a recent study that women who “swallow” on a regular basis, experience a much lower risk of developing preeclampsia (super-high blood pressure, a complication that can occur during pregnancy).

• MULTI-VITAMIN SUPPLEMENT
Semen is loaded with just about everything you find listed on your daily multi-vitamin in the pantry. Just one teaspoon of it contains approximately over 200 proteins, and vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, vitamin B12, calcium, magnesium, chlorine, phosphorus, potassium, citric acid, lactic acid, nitrogen, sodium, fructose, and a significant amount (3% of U.S. R.D.A.) of the antioxidant zinc, which helps slow down the aging process.

• REGULAR ORGASMS DECREASE RISK OF PROSTATE CANCER
The Journal of the American Medical Association reported that a decreased risk of total prostate cancer is related to high-frequency ejaculations.

• ALL-NATURAL FIRE EXTINGUISHER
Okay, this gives a whole new definition to the “hot fireman” category, but it’s scientifically true. The Polytechnic University of Turin has found research that suggests that the DNA in semen could be used to create flame-retardant materials. Research on herring sperm cells, have found that their DNA converts to a “ceramic-like material when exposed to extreme heat,” making the “hot fireman” the human fire extinguisher. And it’s 100% green and environmentally friendly!

ANABOLIC STEROIDS
YOU’VE AMPED UP – NOW WHAT?

POST-CYCLE THERAPY – BRINGING BACK NATURAL HORMONAL BALANCE

In order to boost physical performance, many athletes have used anabolic steroids over the years. But with today’s definition of “perfectly fit”—it is the non-athletes who make up an even larger portion of those who have been self-prescribing hormones to improve their physique and appearance. An estimated 2.9 to 4.0 million Americans (age 13-50) have used anabolic steroids, and most without physician supervision, using underground black market resources and products. This is not only medically ill-advised as potentially dangerous, but the purity of the product is greatly questionable, adding extra risk to one’s health.

Other added dangers are increased by a common method of “stacking” (using two or more anabolic steroids—often androgens) in progressively increasing doses in intermittent cycles. This practice makes it hard to predict the cumulative potential health consequences—not to mention that anabolic steroids are not natural to the body, as they are synthetic man-made compounds. Testosterone is the opposite—it is produced naturally by the body, and is necessary physiologically for health and wellbeing. Anabolic steroids are not, and they can come with negative side effects including damaging both the heart and liver, causing high blood pressure, depression, shrinking of the testicles, erectile and sexual dysfunction and infertility, enlarged breasts (aka “bitch tits”), and negatively affecting cholesterol and blood fat levels.

The practice of “cycling” is based on the notion that drug holidays (intermittent use of anabolic steroids followed by taking a break) may prevent desensitization to large doses of androgen (even though this concept remains to be proven scientifically). Yet after a cycle of anabolic steroid use, testosterone levels may fall to unnaturally low levels (even within a female range), known as anabolic steroid-induced hypogonadism, and it can cause loss of sexual desire and sexual function, depression and even hot flushes, all of which can last sometimes up to four years. These symptoms of withdrawal can be so difficult to tolerate that many men go back on another cycle of anabolic steroids, causing a vicious cycle known as “hooked-on-hormones” syndrome.

Post Cycle Therapy helps to restore natural hormonal function for those who have self-administered anabolic steroids, in order to prevent hypogonadism-induced health consequences, such as loss of muscle and bone mineral mass, sexual and reproductive dysfunction, and depression, as well as to promote healthy aging. Treatment involves various dosages of medications in order to achieve balance once again, as there is no “one-size-fits-all” post-cycle therapy. Therefore it is of utmost importance to find a doctor who is well-versed in andrology (the science of man) and endocrine regulation, as well as the side effects of anabolic steroids. Yet, most physicians tend to be uncomfortable and are hesitant to treat patients who have used anabolic steroids.

Dr. Pierce at Ageless Forever Anti-Aging Clinic in Las Vegas, Nev., understands the importance of listening to patients so that they feel open to discuss their cycles, stacks and motives, in order to properly diagnose and treat them to bring them back to a balanced and healthy state once again. As a former athlete himself, Dr. Pierce understands the mentality of anabolic steroid users and has educated himself in not only the underground lingo, but also in the newest medical research on the subject, to better provide the best possible individualized care for his patients.

STOP THE FAT GUILT! It's Your Genetic Code

STOP THE FAT GUILT!
IT’S NOT YOUR FAULT–
IT’S YOUR GENETIC CODE

…BUT THERE IS SOMETHING YOU CAN DO TO HELP FIGHT IT

Some people can take one bite of a cookie and put it down, while others struggle with serious food addiction—and now scientists can prove why. It’s your genetic code. Two genes (FTO and DRD2) were located by researchers that make you have a much stronger response to high-calorie foods. Dr. Tony Goldstone, endocrinologist and lead researcher of the study, says this has a huge impact for people struggling to lose weight, explaining: “It means they may experience more cravings than the average person when presented with high-calorie foods – that is those high in fat and/or sugar – leading them to eat more of these foods.” So if you’re one of those people who just can’t seem to lose weight, it just may be written in your personal code—making it much more difficult to say ‘No’ to those genetic urges that compel you to eat that extra slice of pizza or cake. …But there’s a way to fight your genetics:

• Protein reduces cravings for both sweets and fats and releases dopamine in your body to make you feel good naturally.
• Never skip a meal—it makes your body go into “starvation mode,” slowing down your metabolism to burn less calories and creating the need to overcompensate

in your brain, making you have less willpower when seeing sweets in the pantry.
• Keep blood sugar levels regulated—by not overeating, to help you avoid huge spikes and drops. Eat healthy snacks in between meals and try chlorogenic acid (green coffee beans) as a vitamin supplement. It has the unique ability to regulate your blood sugar – even if you’ve just eaten something sweet. A natural appetite suppressant, like yacon root, can help you to not overeat.

Hard Time Working Over The Holidays? -Top Concentration Killers

1215healthholidayconcentrationkillers2mosaic

HARD TIME FOCUSING OVER THE HOLIDAYS?
TOP CONCENTRATION KILLERS
Multitasking – If you pride yourself in mastering the art of multitasking—STOP. Research shows that during your attention shift from one task to another, you actually lose time.

Depression – Sadness may seem like the biggest sign of depression, but difficulty concentrating is one of the most common symptoms. Feeling indifferent, hopeless or empty? See a doctor. Depression is highly treatable.

Social Media – Every status update kills your train of thought. Try logging in during work breaks only, to avoid the steady stream of posts that interrupt your concentration during work.

Email – Email can feel like an itch that you’ve just got to scratch, sucking up your concentration with every reply. Schedule time slots in your workday for answering emails, then simply shut it down for a completely focused rest of your work day.

Cell Phone – More disruptive is the time-consuming distraction of cell phone calls. Utilize caller-ID, let it go to voicemail, unless it’s urgent, and schedule specific times to listen to all messages at one sitting, rather than disruptively throughout the day.

Boredom – Boring tasks can lead to temptation of reaching for your phone or a quick surf of the Internet. Instead, reward yourself after staying on task for a certain period of time, by taking a short coffee or snack break, or better yet, a quick walk outside.

Stress – The vicious cycle of stress: piles just get bigger when you are having a hard time focusing, and lack of focus tends to make the workload pile up. It shows up in headaches, tight shoulders, even a racing heart. Learn stress reduction techniques. Meditation has been proven to increase your ability to focus.

Nagging Thoughts – If you’re worried about anything other than work, (an argument yesterday with your spouse, holiday plans and more) it can be almost impossible to focus on work at hand. Make a list. By writing down your distractions you can now separate yourself, and let them go for a while.

Fatigue – Too little sleep has been proven to be an attention killer, as well as short-term memory zapper. Get 7-9 hours of sleep each night and schedule your most difficult tasks during your most alert times of the day.

Hunger – Skipping meals will kill your ability to focus, but breakfast is the most important—and lacking this meal is a top concentration killer.

ADHD – Consistent trouble focusing, with attention problems as a kid, may be the condition known as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. If you experience a short attention span with consistent difficulty focusing on tasks, see a doctor. There are ways to ease the symptoms through behavioral therapy and medications.

LOOK GOOD and
FEEL GOOD—BOTH

TURN BACK THE HANDS OF TIME WITH 3 MAIN ANTI-AGING THERAPIES

In a city like Las Vegas, where looking good and timeless is typical, skin conditions like dryness, wrinkling, and sun damage do not go unnoticed or untreated. Patients here know that for all their cosmetic anti-aging needs, including Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport, they can simply visit Dr. John J. Pierce at his Ageless Forever facility. As an age management clinic specializing in providing only the best of state-of-the-art cosmetic technology, they are able to provide their patients with effective and reliable medical therapy to protect their health during the progression of the aging process.

BOTOX
Botox is the most well-known wrinkle management therapy that is available in the market. It is used to improve the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles and fine lines, especially between the eyebrows, around the eyes, and the forehead. This derivative of the botulinum toxin exerts a temporary paralyzing action on the muscles that are directly underlying the wrinkles, to make them more subtle and less pronounced.  Botox results can last for three to five months.

XEOMIN
Xeomin is a relative newcomer in the anti-wrinkle domain, but has shown to be a very promising alternative to the more conventional methods being used in the market today. It can also temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe frown and glabellar lines in adults. Also a derivative of the botulinum toxin, the active ingredient of Xeomin is incobotulinum toxin A, which exerts a similar blocking action on nerve activity in the underlying muscles in order to soften the appearance of the wrinkles. The effects of Xeomin can last for three to six months.

DYSPORT
Dysport is another non-surgical wrinkle treatment formulation that is used to address the need to reduce and smooth away wrinkles and frown lines. Similar to the other two treatments, Dysport is also extracted from Clostridium botulinum, and exerts its action by temporarily immobilizing the muscles that are directly under your facial lines and wrinkles. The results obtained using Dysport are also long lasting, usually at an average of three to four months.

THERAPEUTIC ADVANTAGES
As anti-aging treatments, Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport are forerunners. They are all able to deliver phenomenal results, by significantly reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by a simple non-invasive injection to reveal a more youthful look, without having to undergo surgery. All three therapies create a more vibrant image that is easily maintained. All in all, these formulations are a great option for anyone who wants to turn back the hands of time and regain their fresh-faced glow.
